Receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

Once accepted into a program, the institution will issue a CAS, which is a unique reference number needed for the visa application.

Demonstrate that you have enough funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses. This is a crucial aspect of the visa application.

Language Proficiency

Provide evidence of English language proficiency through recognized tests like IELTS or TOEFL.

Visa Application

Complete the online visa application form and pay the application fee. You may need to apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa.

Biometric Information

Schedule and attend a biometric appointment to provide fingerprints and a photo.

Healthcare Surcharge

Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), which grants access to the National Health Service (NHS) during your stay.

Submit Documents

Gather and submit all required documents, including your CAS, proof of finances, academic qualifications, and passport.

Interview

In some cases, you may be required to attend an interview as part of the visa process.

Decision and Collection

Wait for a decision on your visa application. If approved, you will receive a vignette sticker in your passport, which allows you to enter the UK. You will collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) after arriving in the UK.
